Ingredients:
- 6 Teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Red onions chopped finely
- 200grm Bacon Lardons
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 1 Habanero hot thyme chilli sauce
- 2 Kg prime brasing steak
- 3 Tablespoons plain flour
- 1 Large cinnamon stick
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 450grm tin chopped tomato
- 2 Table spoons Froggit Chocolate Chilli Balsamic Reduction
- 650ml clear beef stock
Method:
- Chop beef in desired chunks roll in seasoned flour
- Shallow fry in pan till brown, remove and place in Casserole pot
- Pour beef stock into saucepan heat and add tomatoes, garlic cinnamon stick, sugar, chilli, red onions bring to the boil and simmer for five minutes.
- Remove beef stock and pour over beef in casserole place in pre heated oven 180 for two hours, remove from oven and add Castillo Chocolate Chilli balsamic reduction stir and allow to rest for 10 minutes and serve.
